How Does It Work?
Ribociclib is a targeted anticancer medicine known as a CDK4/6 (cyclin-dependent kinase 4 and 6) inhibitor. It works by blocking CDK4 and CDK6 proteins, which are involved in the growth and division of cancer cells. By stopping these proteins, Ribociclib slows or prevents cancer cells from multiplying, helping control the progression of hormone receptor-positive breast cancer.
